Bookmark

Taking vases as bookmarks, you can mark each reading break with flowers. It seems like flowers growing out of a book and book covers will be just like the surface of a vase. The concentrated reading of every book and the blooming of every flower meet here. Constantly changing books and flowers let vases constantly change, the driving force of which comes from reading and love of life.

The triangular section of the vases can better fit with books. It can let the vase be easily held when changing the water and a smaller base gives suspension sense, protecting the books separated from the table.

A-B

Generally there are at least two types of vases, horizontal disk shape and vertical bottle shape. The design abstracts these two types into cylinder and cone shapes and connects them to integrate the upper water storage space and the support function of the lower part, a structure that can be inverted.

Turning out the different side of the vase can create two different styles. On this basis, more forms and combinations can be created to adapt to different flowers and space characteristics.

I&D

Glass tube as the water storage space is embedded in the black metal and displays a simple vase style. The contrast between transparent glass texture and black metal texture seems to provide the beauty of modernism, and the water and plants poetically contrast with the beauty of geometry.

Black metal is used as the handle and framework of the vase and all parts are connected and fixed by magnets, which can be easily dissembled, cleaned, packed and transported.

ZHITOU Vase

Branches trimmed from plants are used as vase support, forming a natural structure with unique beauty. The tip of a branch is heat shrunk with plastic and fixed to a glass tube, standing with a natural intersected three-branch structure. It is simple to make and each one is different, just like an art installation.

Interesting shapes made of daily materials serve daily life, a combination between transparency and organism, homogeneity and contrast, art and daily life. When flowers are placed into it, new life of branches restarts.
