Linking Buildings and Cities

每年10月-11月的世界顶尖科学家论坛将在这里举行,除了顶科会议相对短暂的会时使用,我们同样关注建筑日常的使用——希望建筑将整个区域持续的激活起来。

我们尽可能的将更多的功能向市民开放,消解建筑生硬的界面和封闭的空间,使建筑空间成为城市服务中心的一部分。

The World Laureates Forum will be held here from October to November every year. In addition to the relatively short duration of the World Laureates Forum, we also pay attention to the daily use of buildings – we hope that the buildings will continue to activate the whole region.

We will open more functions to the public as much as possible, eliminate the rigid interface and closed space of the building, and make the building space become a part of the urban service center.

为了避免沿街界面过长,在建筑中部设置室外南北通廊,使北侧城市街角空间与南侧公园打通。一层对外公共服务的功能属性、南北贯穿的建筑布局,使建筑边界模糊,有机的融入了城市,成为街区的一部分。

In order to avoid the long interface along the street, an outdoor south-north corridor is set in the middle of the building to connect the northern urban street corner space with the southern park. The functional attribute of the first floor external public service and the north-south architectural layout make the building boundary vague, organically integrate into the city and become a part of the street.

同样,二层南北中轴上布置的会议功能的公共空间和酒店的大堂,这些大人流的公共空间面向城市界面打开,建筑的开放空间和城市的广场、公园在视线及交通上链接为一个整体,建筑与城市形成连续性的组织结构,人们在城市中认识建筑,也在建筑中感受城市,建筑和人的关系联系的更加密切。

Similarly, the public space with conference function and the lobby of the hotel are arranged on the north-south axis of the second floor. These public spaces with large flow of people are open to the urban interface. The open space of the building and the square and park of the city are linked as a whole in line of sight and traffic. The building and the city form a continuous organizational structure. People experience the building in the city and feel the city in the building. The relationship between the building and people is closer.

未来之翼,绿色美学
Wing of the Future, Green Aesthetics

双碳目标是中国对国际社会的承诺,“科技,为了人类共同命运”是世界顶尖科学家论坛的永恒主题。作为顶科会议的举办地,在这里我们最大化的实现建筑的绿色美学,成为上海市首个通过超低能耗方案评审的公建项目。

The carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals are China’s commitment to the international community. “Science and technology, for the common destiny of mankind” is the eternal theme of the World Top Scientists Forum. As the host of the World Laureates Forum, here we maximize the realization of green aesthetics of buildings and become the first public construction project in Shanghai to pass the review of ultra-low energy consumption scheme.

建筑的立面效果轻盈动感,立面上羽毛般片状的横向线条成为建筑重要的符号,渐变的线条营造一种动感的建筑势态,随着在视角的移动,建筑立面线条呈现流动的视觉动感,实现大体量建筑观感的统一而多变。

The facades of the building are light and dynamic. The feather like horizontal lines on the facade have become an important symbol of the building. Gradual lines create a dynamic architectural situation. With the movement of the visual angle, the facade lines of the building present a flowing visual dynamic sense, realizing the unity and variety of the large-scale architectural sense.

建筑大量采用了BIPV,屋面羽毛状、鳞次栉比的光伏板为酒店带来的可再生能源,设计结合阳光受光角度和建筑造型的需要,兼顾了屋面设备的空气流通,造型独特。建筑南面裙房大斜面的酒店大堂玻璃屋面采用光伏一体设计,室内通透性和遮阳的需求达到最佳的平衡点,营造了舒适的室内空间。

BIPV is widely used in the building. Feather shaped and row after row of photovoltaic panels on the roof bring renewable energy to the hotel. The design combines the needs of the sunlight receiving angle and the building shape, giving consideration to the air circulation of the roof equipment, and the shape is unique. The glass roof of the hotel lobby with large inclined podium on the south side of the building is designed with photovoltaic integration, which achieves the best balance between indoor permeability and sun shading, creating a comfortable indoor space.

可持续设计的、城市开放共享的大型公建设计是顶科论坛项目设计中关注的重点,希望这样的建筑能带给城市更多的活力,实现建筑与城市与自然的共生,带来新时代的可持续美学体验。

The design of large-scale public buildings with sustainable design and urban openness and sharing is the focus of the project design of the permanent site for the World Laureates Forum. It is hoped that such buildings can bring more vitality to the city, realize the symbiosis between architecture and city and nature, and bring sustainable aesthetic experience in the new era.
